   Two walkers were traced safe and well on the Merrick path after becoming disorientated as night fell.

   Two lost walkers were traced safe and well on Cairnsmore of Fleet after becoming disorientated in poor visibility on the summit.

5. Press Release - Ayr Flag Day 2012
   The generous shoppers in Ayr helped boost our funds by £1340 with a separate donation from Blacks Outdoors taking the total on the day to £1375.

6. Callout - 19th November - 1730hrs
   The team's new Land Rover, crewed by 4 team personnel and a local police officer, was deployed after serious flooding in the Newton Stewart area. Their primary task was to travel the A714 north of the town, to ensure that no motorists or local residents were in any danger (Press Release to follow)

8. Press Release - Galloway MRT Celebrate the Opening of our New Base
   The team's new base in Princes Avenue, Newton Stewart, is officially opened by Sir Malcolm Ross, Prior of St. John Scotland and Lord-Lieutenant of the Stewartry of Kirkcudbright.

9. Press Release - Official Opening of the new Galloway MRT Team Base
   Our new base will be officially opened on the 6th October 2012 and we'd like former team members and the local community to join our celebrations.

10. Callout - 12th September - 1930hrs
    Two missing walkers, and their dog, from the Dumfries area were found safe and well in the Galloway Forest Park near Loch Fleet.

13. Callout - 18th June - 1600hrs
    A missing 82 year old man is found safe and well after going missing whilst walking his dog near Kirkcudbright.

    The team provided further assistance to Moffat MRT to search for a missing man in the Eskdalemuir area. (No Press Release)

16. Callout - 19th May - 0800hrs
    The team provided assistance to Moffat MRT to search for a missing man in the Eskdalemuir area. (No Press Release)

17. Callout - 5th May - 1340hrs
    The team were called out to assist with the evacuation of an injured 53 year old man who had been walking near Loch Trool. The casualty was airlifted to hospital by Royal Navy Rescue 177 from HMS Gannet, Prestwick, prior to the arrival of the team. (No Press Release)
