In August 2003, we were fortunate to have the crew of Helimed 5, Scottish Air Ambulance based at Glasgow, training with us at Castle Douglas and Dalbeattie Forest.

One of the objectives of the day was to assess the viability of Helimed 5 assisting the team with casualty evacuations from Dalbeattie Forest 7 Stanes Mountain Bike course.

Helimed 5 is better equipped than previous aircraft to assist MR Teams.
