The people of Ayrshire, and visitors to the town of Ayr on 20th November 2004, helped tremendously to boost our funds by donating an amazing total of £1075 during our annual flag day.

Team members who were involved in the collection were astonished with the total collected and Kenny MacKay, organiser of the flag day collection commented: "We would like to thank everyone who donated money to the team. The collection will be going towards equipping the two team response vehicles with defibrilators and this has been a major boost to the fund."

Children were particularly pleased to see our 'stand in' search dog; she proved to be a fantastic hit and seemed to be enjoying every minute of attention.

Millets of Ayr, presented the team with a further supply of high energy bars and a rucksack to be used as a prize in our upcoming raffle. Thanks to Gordon and his staff for their continued support.
